Who is Eligible for Student Select Health Insurance?
To be eligible for Student Select Health Insurance coverage, you must be:
- A healthy full-time undergraduate college student (9 or more credit hours).
- A healthy full-time graduate student
- under the age of 30.
- A student attending a state-accredited college or university (The college or university must be listed in the Higher Education Directory.)
- A student who maintains fulltime status for a minimum of 31 days following the effective date of the policy. (If you are a part-time student, please review our Temporary Health Insurance options.)
- You must have a social security number. (If you do not have a social security number please review our International Student Insurance.)

Will coverage be in jeopardy if I drop a class? No,
not as long as: (1) You met the definition of an eligible student on the date the application was signed. (2) You attended school full-time for 31 days after the policy effective date. (3) The premium is paid in full.

If I graduate or drop out of school, will I lose coverage?
No,
your Student Select policy stays with you for as long as you need it and, of course, as long as premiums are paid.

No,
